My academic degree in Sport Science and my experience in the field of sport have contributed to increasing my passion for human movement. I strongly believe that every individual represents a magnificent and fascinating "system" of interdependence between function and structure, body and mind. My daily motivation to do my best as an Osteopath, a Coach or a Lecturer is based on this premise.
I have been working since several years with children, teenagers, adults and elderly people in various professional contexts, and I have always considered that the human body is a "perfect machine" which deserves respect, care and attention to detail.
For this reason, I have never stopped studying: I combine my knowledge of performance training with my osteopathic background for an approach aimed both at maximising the challenge and preventing injury.
I graduated in Sport Science in 2005 at the University of Turin (Italy), where three years later I got my specialization in Sport Science and Training Tecnique.
I have been working since several years with children, teenagers, adults and elderly people in various professional contexts, and I have always considered that the human body is a "perfect machine" which deserves respect, care and attention to detail. For this reason, I have never stopped studying and I some years after the end of my academic education I decided to attend courses at a school of Osteopathy.
After various different jobs in the sports domain in Italy, I moved to Brussels in September 2015, where I started working as a freelance Personal Trainer in a small studio in the city centre and at Aspria La Rasante. One year later, I inaugurated “Functional Training Louise”, my own Personal Training Studio which was renamed BruxLT in April 2016, becoming a fully-fledged Wellness Studio thanks to the development of collateral services such as Nutrition Consultancy and Manual Therapy.
In May 2018 I opened my second Personal Training Studio inside the facilities of "Médicis", one of the most renowned medical center in Brussels. Operating in a medical environment is a further boost of motivation to demonstrate that, if carried out using an evidence-based method, physical activity can have a huge, positive impact on people's health, especially in relation to primary prevention and functional re-education.
In 2019 I got my degree as an Osteopath DO, but I actually never stopped studying. Firm believer in continuing education, every year I attend several international congresses and professional trainings, all around Europe and United States.
